About The Position

As Housekeeping Manager, you will utilize your talent for overseeing projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will implement preventive measures that prioritize the protection and comfort of guests, the safety and security of associates, and the protection of assets. Your role will involve creating an environment where motivated individuals want to join, learn, excel, and advance. You will oversee a diverse team of well-trained housekeepers by modeling the way, empowering, sharing your knowledge, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle. You will ensure all guest and service areas are clean and that turndown service is delivered. Additionally, you will take action to prevent loss, maintain optimal health, and promote hygiene to ensure guest comfort and associate safety. You will plan and schedule assignments, manage special requests, and monitor supplies and expenses to ensure they meet or exceed budget goals. Responding to guest requests and concerns promptly will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant employment experience in housekeeping.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Effective communication skills with staff, management, and guests; a second language may be required.
  • Ability to operate a two-way radio and maintain general office equipment, including computers.
  • Physical ability to continuously move and stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and push or pull up to 35 pounds.
