As a Housekeeping Manager you will oversee daily housekeeping operations in accordance with corporate and resort guidelines. This position is responsible for supervising and motivating the housekeeping team, managing daily operations, and ensuring that all housekeeping services meet our quality and service standards. You will supervise and motivate all housekeeping supervisors, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure guest satisfaction. You will also assign duties to supervisors, inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, you will complete assigned projects and maintain written progress records, communicate with guests and supervisors to address questions and provide clear direction, and organize, conduct, and attend meetings to exchange relevant information. You will ensure regular attendance in accordance with company standards, recruit, hire, train, and provide career development for housekeeping staff, conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees, and respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintaining a professional image through appearance and dress, adhering to company philosophies, policies, and procedures, and conducting training on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines are also key responsibilities. You may perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with room cleaning when short-staffed.
