Requirements
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience at a lead level or above preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare or independent living environment is a plus.
- A solid work history with excellent attendance & punctuality.
- High school diploma/GED OR 3 plus years of related experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.
- Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily cleaning in designed areas and perform other work projects upon request by manager.
- Ensure assignments of all environmental staff are performed to customer and state standards and in accordance with established procedures, including meetings and trainings such as "Bloodborne Pathogen.”
- Provides excellent customer service and solves complex questions and concerns to provide an outstanding experience for residents.
- Trains new staff on how to properly clean and use cleaning products.
- Audits facility to ensure the work of the housekeeping staff is being performed according to schedule and following the correct policies and procedures of the department and the facility.
- Fills in for any open cleaning or laundry position as needed.
- Always promotes residents’ safety.
- Assists in onboarding and training of new staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
