Housekeeping/Laundry Specialist - Part-Time

Park Village Pines, a faith-based Senior Assisted Living facility, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Specialist to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring that our facility—our residents’ home—remains clean, organized, and safe. Requirements
- Ability to read small print on equipment and written instructions
- Knowledge of proper use and care of cleaning chemicals such as soaps and disinfectants
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull carts up to 75 lbs
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and climb
- Stand or walk up to 100% of an 8-hour shift
- Tolerance to frequent exposure to latex, vinyl, plastic, and other materials used in cleaning and PP
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms & common spaces on a daily
- Keep the housekeeping storage room organized and neat
- Assist with needed deep cleaning throughout the facility
- Work with maintenance to report, repair, or replace items, equipment, etc.
- Adhere to all safety precautions and work within safety procedures for all supplies, chemicals, etc.
