About The Position

The Blackburn Inn and Conference Center is searching for a personable, friendly, and passionate individual to join our team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant. As a member of the Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel while providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping, hotel or cleaning experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Smile, have fun and be energetic!
General cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas while adhering to safety and security procedures.
Changing linen and making beds.
Deep cleaning of bathrooms.
Sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Cleaning windows and balconies.
Retrieving and restocking the housekeeping carts according to standard housekeeping, safety, and security procedures.
Receiving assigned section, keys, supplies, and any priority room requests from the shift supervisor.
Turning in keys and unused supplies at the end of each shift.
Responding to guest requests and reporting guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Properly storing any lost items and reporting any damage or maintenance problems to the shift supervisor.
Working with a variety of different cleaning products and understanding their use.
Assisting in a lobby attendant, laundry or in a house-person role, as requested.
Participating in quarterly deep cleaning efforts or as required.
