About The Position

The Full Time Housekeeping Laundry Attendant position at the Springfield Residence Inn is responsible for the comprehensive management of laundry operations, ensuring the cleanliness and availability of linens for hotel guests. This role involves sorting laundry by color, fabric, and condition, and expertly operating commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment. The attendant is expected to meticulously fold, press, and organize linens to a high standard. Additionally, the position requires maintaining organized laundry carts and closets with adequate supplies. Beyond laundry-specific tasks, the attendant will also support general housekeeping efforts by keeping public areas tidy and assisting the team as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent – A solid foundation for growing your hospitality career.

• Physically capable – Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet moving throughout your shift.
• Flexible availability – Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays—you're there when the laundry piles up.

• Laundry or cleaning experience preferred – You know bleach from fabric softener and aren’t afraid of a mountain of towels.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of “what happened here?” to ensure proper cleaning.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment like a laundry ninja.
• Fold, press, and organize linen so perfectly guests think magic elves did it.
• Maintain laundry carts and closets with the right supplies—neatly and efficiently.
• Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and jumping in where needed.
