About The Position

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Janitor
Attendant.

The incumbent will be responsible for cleaning OR Suites, mopping floor, taking
out the trash, linen and case carts.

Requirements

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
• Willing to work on unscheduled days to help unit achieve adequate coverage.
• Demonstrates ability to set priorities and assist others as needs arise.
• All behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork that is congruent with facility standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.
• Maintains a neat, clean appearance with visible picture ID badge consistent with dress code.
• Understanding the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Up to One year of position related experience required

Responsibilities

• Cleaning OR Suites
• Mopping floor
• Taking out the trash, linen and case carts
• Terminally clean OR Suites
• Visual inspection to ensure that all OR Suites are placed back into readiness for next day service
• Participates in the terminal cleaning process of each operating room as needed even if no procedure has been performed in the room
