About The Position

Ocean Beach Club Resort and Oceanaire team are hiring Housekeeping Inspectors in Virginia Beach. Apply now to join our journey to success! Position Purpose: To maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness and quality control in the guest units and public common areas at the resort while providing outstanding customer service to all owners, guests and their families. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible Schedule, ability to work weekends & holidays
  • Previous Housekeeping experience in timeshare and/or hotels
  • Customer service or similar related experience
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work volumes and staffing
  • Ability to work under pressing deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all units assigned and ensure they are in accordance with the level of quality for the resort.
  • Inspects all public common areas as assigned.
  • Cleans units and public common areas as assigned.
  • Reports any problems of quality to the management and ensures corrective action is taken.
  • Performs written inspections on units as designated by management.
  • Replace any missing inventory items in the units.
  • Reports any maintenance problems to management and any suspicious activities to security.
  • Ensure all assets and supplies for the department are always secure in storage.
  • Assists management in maintaining an accurate inventory of linen and supplies.
  • Works closely with employees to set examples and to insure efficient productivity.
  • Carries out a reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
