SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Inspector inspects the hotel to ensure it is clean, orderly, and meets cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Physical ability to perform the cleaning duties
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment
- One year of previous hotel housekeeping preferred
- Two years of commercial cleaning experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the public areas are clean and look their best
- Assists guest and other housekeeping staff as needed
- Keep the manager/supervisor updated on room service progress and alert maintenance to any repairs needed
- Follow the established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed
- Log any lost and found property
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- When needed, assist the housekeeping department by cleaning rooms
- Regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
