About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Inspector will ensure guest rooms at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel meet the high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness set by Renaissance and Marriott brands. This role is crucial for delivering an elevated guest experience by maintaining consistent quality across all guest accommodations.

Requirements

Prior hotel housekeeping experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Effective communication and team collaboration skills
Basic computer proficiency
Minimum lifting of 20 pounds
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
Hearing, writing, typing
Minimum pulling of 20 pounds
Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
Good mathematical and computer skills
High school education and relevant training and experience
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Nice To Haves

Inspection or supervisory experience
Marriott systems experience
Additional education
CPR and first aid training
Additional language ability

Responsibilities

Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure compliance with Renaissance and Marriott brand standards
Confirm all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented
Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly
Provide feedback and support to Room Attendants to improve performance and consistency
Prioritize and inspect VIP arrivals, early check-ins, and special request rooms
Update room status in the hotel’s property management system in real time
Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards in public areas as needed
Support housekeeping leadership with quality control initiatives and special projects
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
