About The Position

Communicating the Hotel story and creating guest experiences through your daily role as a Floor Inspector, setting the stage for guests to feel inspired by establishing high degrees of excellence in guest rooms, suites and corridors, ensuring guests receive only the highest standard of services, promoting a safe work environment and quality service, assuring guest satisfaction and their need for an encore performance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for opening and closing of the house, room assignments.
Training room attendants.
Ensure all floors are properly stocked and adherent to all parts.
Ensure all chine, glass and silver is in excellent condition and is always maintained.
Ensure the standards of Guest rooms are equal to our high degree of excellency.
Inspect and complete inspections reports.
Immediately report any damage scene or any reported by Room Attendants so the corridors and equipment are kept to a high standard.
Report any burned out lights.
Report on all engineering issues.
Ensure Lost & Found items are properly maintained, recorded.
Keep halls clear of trash, soiled linen, cribs and other guest service equipment.
Be responsible for the input of all status of guest rooms.
Ensure room attendants are always working, and they are fully equipped with supplies that they need to take care of the guest.
Exhibit a high degree of hospitality, always greet customers and exhibit philosophy of one-stop shopping.
Complete any special assignment, directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or the Director of Services.
May assist the evening staff in the performance of duties to include cleaning of lobby, turndown service, trash removal.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
Assist in the development and training of the Department as a whole.
In the absence of the Director of Services and Housekeeping Supervisor, will act as the Person in Charge.
