About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for checking rooms and public areas forcleanliness and assisting with the management of housekeeping and laundry operations.This role supports the housekeeping team through training, coaching, and opencommunication to achieve a positive work environment and outstanding guest service.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop, and reach to assist staffmembers in completing tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Support housekeeping staff through training, coaching, and open communication toensure high performance and efficiency.
Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces,ensuring compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards.
Issue assignments to housekeeping staff, taking into account special requests andareas of focus to maintain smooth operations.
Distribute supplies and goods to staff at the start of each shift, managing inventoryand controlling expenses.
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and issues promptly to ensure guestsatisfaction.
Log items into the Lost and Found and manage guest inquiries related to lostproperty.
Follow emergency procedures to protect hotel guests, staff, and assets.
Adhere to attendance rules and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
