About The Position

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel! Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront view. To ensure that assigned Housekeeping areas are kept clean and fully stocked. Also services assigned public areas to meet the expectations of the Omni Standards.

Requirements

• Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.
• Able to work with Management on special projects.
• Attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that assigned service landing closets are stocked at proper linen and supply par levels.
• Empties GRAs linens on an hourly basis or as needed.
• Empties GRAs garbage on an hourly basis or as needed.
• Communicate with GRAs and assist them with stripping guest rooms.
• Keeps the service landings clean and organized.
• Removes trays from the guest floors.
• Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of stairwells.
• Dust baseboards and pictures in guest corridors daily.
• Ensure all guest room doors are free of scuff marks.
• Keeps ice machine room clean.
• Keep guest elevator landings clean.
• Moves furniture upon request.
• Completes guest requests.
• Have a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.
• Ensure hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
