About The Position

The housekeeper partners with Infection Prevention and other areas in the hospital to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff. A housekeeper will utilize the appropriate cleaning products and processes to reduce spread of disease(s).

Requirements

• Customer Service Experience
• Regular/consistent attendance

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned areas including but not limited to patient rooms, Operating Room, Emergency Department, clinical areas, public areas, office areas, etc.
• Physical aspects include standing, twisting, squatting, bending during, pushing/pulling of cart/trash cart, mopping during their shift.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
