We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping House Attendant!
Requirements
- We are looking for individuals who have a knowledge of housekeeping with good communication skills.
- Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 70 lbs.
- Speaking, writing and reading English is required.
- Positive attitude and willing to learn is must.
- This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Keeps all guest corridors and public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted.
- Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.
- Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas.
- Removes all trash from areas.
- Moves racks of clean Rooms linen to Guest Room floors.
- Stocks Linen Storage Rooms and Armoires daily with supplies and amenities.
- Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
- Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
- Can answer guest questions and direct them to the areas they desire to be in.
- Assists Housekeepers as required.
- Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes.
