About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is looking for a Housekeeping House Attendant to join our exciting Housekeeping Team. The Housekeeping House Attendant is responsible for cleaning the public areas of the hotel, stocking linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens, picking-up and delivering guest request items and giving assistance to Guestroom Attendants in moving heavy objects in guest rooms. We are looking for individuals that strive for excellence and are highly motivated team players. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Candidates must be able to carry or lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• High school education or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months experience within the same or similar position with Four Seasons or other organization.
• Hotel or restaurant experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted.
• Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.
• Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas.
• Moves racks of clean Rooms linen to Guest Room floors.
• Stocks Linen Storage Rooms and Armoires daily with supplies and amenities.
• Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
• Assists Housekeepers as required.
• Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes.
• Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant, Guestroom Attendant and Turndown Attendant.
• Uphold maintenance and safety standards.
• Perform daily opening and closing cleaning procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping carts/linen closets are stocked to par.
• Communicate customer requests or preferences to management.
