About The Position

As a housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest hallways and common areas. Your duties will include cleaning guest hallways and corridors, removing trash from various locations, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, and ensuring that vending areas are clean. You will also be tasked with dusting light fixtures and other areas, managing soiled linen, restocking housekeeping carts, and assisting with bed-making and glass cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest hallways/corridors.
• Remove trash from hallway trash cans, housekeeping carts, guest rooms, and deposit in the trash dumpster.
• Thoroughly vacuum guest hallways, elevators, carpet edges, stairwells, and clean elevators.
• Shampoo carpets and mop floors when needed.
• Clean vending areas, including ice machines, candy machines, and soda machines.
• Dust light fixtures in the hallways, fire extinguisher boxes, railings, etc.
• Remove soiled linen from housekeeping carts and take to the laundry room for cleaning.
• Restock housekeeping carts with clean linen as needed by the room attendants.
• Stirp and help make beds for housekeepers.
• Take dirty glasses from guest rooms to the dishwasher for cleaning and restock clean glasses as needed.
