About The Position

The position involves providing and maintaining clean and comfortable guest rooms to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. The role requires friendly and courteous service to each guest encountered. The employee will be responsible for various tasks related to room cleaning and maintenance, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop, and lift.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Experience working with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily, ensuring all keys are signed out and in at the start and end of shifts.
• Proceed to the laundry area to pick-up assigned cart and necessary supplies.
• Maintain a quiet environment in guest room areas to avoid disturbing guests.
• Prioritize cleaning check-out rooms first, with exceptions for special requests.
• Report all rooms listed as do not disturb to a superior for approval.
• Change sheets in every room daily unless specified otherwise by the guest.
• Clean rooms according to established procedures and return cart to linen room at the end of the shift.
• Carry out all reasonable requests by management.
• Be flexible regarding work schedule.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform, including name tag.
• Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and changes.
• Be aware of current guest service scores and actively participate in achieving hotel goals.
• Handle all duties according to hotel policies and procedures.
• Know emergency procedures and act accordingly.
• Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
• Assist fellow associates to improve daily operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Benefits
