About The Position

The Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and service all hotel areas and is responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment.

Requirements

Must be guest oriented.
Previous experience is helpful.
Must be knowledgeable in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
Must demonstrate good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast pace environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel areas
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shift
Must be able to push/pull up to 75 pounds
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean and service all Hotel areas including specifically the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving of furniture and other tasks necessary to ensure our guests experience a pleasing perception when coming to the Ocean Casino Resort .
Deliver supplies where needed, e.g. in guest rooms, bathroom tissue, tissues, soap, etc. and other supply closets located throughout the property
Promptly reports any maintenance problems with equipment or the property and any guest need to Supervisor.
