About The Position

Join the Marriott Orlando Downtown team as a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. As a supervisor, you will lead and support the housekeeping staff on the floor, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety standards.
Physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties and supervise floor operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Coordinate and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to meet productivity and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure standards are met.
Provide training and guidance to team members to improve performance and adherence to hotel policies.
Report maintenance issues and communicate guests’ needs promptly to appropriate departments.
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Support management in staffing, scheduling, and inventory control as needed.
