About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping / Environmental Services Technician (EVS) to join our team at our inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at 300 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. This position is per diem (PRN) with shifts from 2PM to 10PM on weekdays and 7AM to 3PM on weekends. The compensation for this role is $19.30 per hour plus a shift differential. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in the hospital.
• Play a key part in patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.
• Assist in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
• Keep floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
• Clean and polish all metal trim furnishing and/or equipment as necessary, as well as wash walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors as assigned using safety precautions.
• Assist in moving furniture as requested.
• Replenish supplies including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
