About The Position

Housekeeping/Custodial Workers have the integral role and basic function of the caring for and cleaning of the Children's Recovery Center. Positions in this job family are assigned routine work involving sweeping, mopping, dusting, disposing of trash, and other simple cleaning duties in an outpatient facility. Housekeepers/Custodial Workers may also have responsibilities involving the disposal of hazardous materials or other restricted items.

Requirements

• Level I: No experience required.
• Level II: 6 months experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to occasionally lift/carry 40 pounds and push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and dust various areas of the facility.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in the Children's Recovery Center.
• Handle hazardous materials or restricted items as required.
