About The Position

ANSWER AND DIRECT ALL INCOMING PHONE CALLS IN A COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT MANNER TO ENSURE ULTIMATE GUEST SATISFACTION. DISPATCH ALL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS TO DEPARTMENTAL STAFF. PRODUCE DAILY ASSIGNMENTS. MONITOR AND UPDATE ROOM STATUSES IN THE HOTEL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. COMPLETE ALL NECESSARY PAPERWORK AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES. REPORT ANY SERVICE DISCREPANCIES TO THE APPROPRIATE MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR AND RESOLVE THEM WHERE POSSIBLE. REPORT ANY SAFETY OR SECURITY DISCREPANCIES TO THE APPROPRIATE MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR. MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION OF WATER AND CHEMICALS BY CONTROLLING LOAD SIZE AND ACCURATELY SPECIFYING LOAD CONTENT. MONITOR THE WORKING CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS OF LAUNDRY/DRY CLEANING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT. FOLLOW ALL COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES; ENSURE UNIFORM AND PERSONAL APPEARANCE ARE CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL; MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PROPRIETARY INFORMATION; PROTECT COMPANY ASSETS. FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND SECURITY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES; REPORT ANY MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS, SAFETY HAZARDS, ACCIDENTS, OR INJURIES; COMPLETE SAFETY TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS. WELCOME AND ACKNOWLEDGE ALL GUESTS ACCORDING TO COMPANY STANDARDS. SUPPORT ALL CO-WORKERS AND TREAT THEM WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. COMPLY WITH QUALITY ASSURANCE EXPECTATIONS AND STANDARDS. STAND, SIT, OR WALK FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OR AN ENTIRE WORK SHIFT. REACH OVERHEAD AND BELOW THE KNEES, INCLUDING BENDING, TWISTING, PULLING, AND STOOPING. MOVE, LIFT, CARRY, PUSH, PULL, AND PLACE OBJECTS WEIGHING LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 50 POUNDS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. PERFORM OTHER REASONABLE JOB DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY SUPERVISORS.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls in a courteous, efficient manner
  • Dispatch all internal and external customers housekeeping needs to departmental staff
  • Produce daily assignments
  • Monitor and update room statuses in the hotel property management system
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and other administrative duties
  • Report any service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve them where possible
  • Report any safety or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor
  • Maximize efficiency and conservation of water and chemicals by controlling load size and accurately specifying load content
  • Monitor the working condition and cleanliness of laundry/dry cleaning machinery and equipment
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
