About The Position

As a Housekeeping Coordinator at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. A typical day will include preparing and distributing assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff, identifying room assignments and the type of cleaning required for each room, coordinating VIP service, and acting as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. You will also communicate with the Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
• Identifies room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room on assignment sheets/workboards.
• Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
• Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
• Communicates with Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
• Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs.
• Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contributes to team goals.
• Follows company policies and safety procedures.
