About The Position
The position involves responding promptly to requests from guests and other departments, filling a cart with supplies, and transporting it to the assigned area. Responsibilities include entering guest rooms following proper procedures, replacing guest amenities and supplies, changing dirty linens and terry with clean items, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and removing trash and room service items. The role also requires checking that all appliances are present and in working order, straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming carpets. Adherence to company and safety policies is essential, including reporting maintenance problems and safety hazards. The position demands a clean and professional appearance, confidentiality, and the ability to assist guests with service needs. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, and carrying objects, pushing and pulling loaded carts, and standing or walking for extended periods.
