Requirements

Hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Must be willing to work 0-20 hours and at least two Saturdays a month.
Must be willing to be on-call after hours on various weeknights per week and one weekend per month (including Sunday)

Responsibilities

Ensure world-class service to all lodging guests.
Be knowledgeable of and able to answer questions about The Inn’s guest rooms, Village layout, shops, and attractions. Also have a general knowledge of local directions and tourist attractions. Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of all guest quarters by cleaning rooms for guest arrivals.
Launder, fold, and change all linens from guest quarters and launder linens for other departments when needed.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
Perform daily cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, restocking, and refreshing rooms.
Take initiative and be willing to fill in other positions (i.e., front desk, on-call) if necessary.
Understand and coordinate room status updates between housekeeping room attendants and the front desk team members by communicating all checkouts, arrivals, and special needs and requests.
Build relationships with fellow employees and work as a team to ensure efficiency in cleaning rooms.
Show Inn rooms, amenities, and enthusiastically describe lodging experience to potential lodging guests when needed.
Deep clean and detail clean guest rooms as assigned by Captain.
