About The Position
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and presentable. You will be tasked with filling your cart with necessary supplies and transporting it to your assigned area, where you will follow established procedures for entering guest rooms, ensuring they are vacant before proceeding. In your daily duties, you will replace guest amenities and supplies, ensuring that each room is equipped with clean linens and terry items. Making beds and folding terry will be part of your routine, along with cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and collecting dirty linens and room service items. You will also check that all appliances in the room are present and functioning properly, straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances, and dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuuming carpets and performing floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways will also be part of your responsibilities. This position emphasizes the importance of promoting superior guest service, ensuring that every guest has a pleasant experience during their stay. Please note that this role does not involve work on the casino gaming floor or in restricted areas, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional service in guest accommodations.
