Job Summary and Qualifications Seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning tasks in patient rooms and other assigned areas. HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383 bed hospital. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

6-12 months housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hotel setting preferred.

Responsibilities

You will clean patient rooms and prepare rooms for new patients.
You will use cleaning supplies and equipment to disinfect and clean restrooms while following appropriate safety procedures.
You will dispose of waste.
You will fill soap dispensers.
