About The Position
Equinox will be hosting a job fair for our newest club opening soon in Culver City. Legendary past meets legendary future at our newest LA club, housed in the revitalized former home of Sony Pictures and located in the buzzing creative hub of Culver City! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service Ensure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor Provide maintenance for all equipment Use janitorial equipment appropriately and efficiently Receive and store all deliveries Assist with special events Notify the Maintenance Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attention Provide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in janitorial or related experience
- High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
- Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
- Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred
- Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
- Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities
- Must be able to work well with others in a team oriented environment where one willingly takes on additional tasks with a positive attitude to help out the team/department.
- Must be able to follow (written and oral) instructions and established procedures

- Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
