The Housekeeping Associate position is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to learn and gain valuable experience, who enjoys serving in multiple capacities within a fun and dynamic atmosphere. This role is responsible for ensuring all assigned club areas are sparkling clean, neat, uncluttered, fully stocked, and safe, adhering to all Villa Sport standards and task checklists. Housekeeping Associates are expected to complete cleaning duties while acting as service ambassadors to members. This position is highly visible throughout the club, constantly cleaning and meticulously maintaining the facility, thereby demonstrating the high importance of cleanliness to the Villa Sport brand. A Housekeeping Associate may be assigned to specific areas such as locker rooms, laundry services, exterior areas, or general club housekeeping. With a can-do spirit and willingness to assist wherever needed, associates may also be trained and assigned to other club areas including Member Services (front desk), Café, Recovery + Spa (reception), and Sports Facilities.

Requirements

Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Basic knowledge of hand tools and cleaning equipment
Minimum 16 years of age (certification requirements vary for café roles)
Five-star customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to quickly learn new tasks or technology
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment where the customer is first
Committed and flexible
Outgoing, friendly and able to work with and serve all kinds of people

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping/hospitality experience preferred
Bilingual a plus
Progress toward high school diploma or college degree preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure assigned club areas are sparkling clean, neat and uncluttered, fully stocked, and safe, following all Villa Sport standards and provided task checklists
Complete all cleaning duties while serving as service ambassadors to our members
Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the club, constantly cleaning and taking great care of the facility
May be assigned to the locker rooms, laundry services, and exterior areas or to general club housekeeping duty
May be trained and assigned to one or more of these club areas: Member Services (front desk), Café, Recovery + Spa (reception), Sports Facilities
