Lake Port Square is recruiting for a hospitality focused, Full time Housekeeping Associate to join our Environmental Services Team in our Health Center. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of housekeeping & laundry.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of housekeeping functions in order to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
- Exemplify at all time Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
- Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
- Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
