About The Position

We are looking for dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our environmental services team. Housekeepers contribute to the quality of life for our residents by providing a warm, clean and friendly home environment. In collaboration with the rest of the facility staff, the housekeepers will help ensure that all areas of the facility, including offices and resident care areas, are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly fashion. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning and pushing

Responsibilities

  • Complete all necessary housekeeping functions in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
  • Follow facility schedule for daily and weekly cleaning requirements
  • Use, maintain and store chemicals, supplies and equipment per facility policy and manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents and staff
  • Interact directly with residents to ensure their environmental needs are met
  • Follow all facility policies and procedures including but not limited to infection control protocols, emergency preparedness plans and safety regulations
  • Communicate professionally with staff, residents and visitors
  • Complete other duties as required
