About The Position

In this vital role of Housekeeping Assistant Manager, you take pride in the quality assurance of the Housekeeping Department: all guest rooms and suites, public spaces and heart of the house. You manage inventory, cost control measures, and leadership of the 30 team members. For this position we are looking for candidates who are fluent in English and a second language is always a plus.

Requirements

• Prior Housekeeping experience.
• Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish).
• Basic communication skills.
• Full-service hotel experience, preferably in an upscale independent hotel.
• Ability to hire, train, and coach staff effectively.
• Dependable, organized, and possess a positive, can-do mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a 4-diamond hotel environment.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality assurance of the Housekeeping Department including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart of the house.
• Oversee inventory and cost control measures.
• Lead and manage a team of 30 housekeeping staff.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
• Take ownership of tasks and feedback for personal growth.
