Brandon Wilde is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping & Laundry Lead to join our team! This role is responsible for supervising and training assigned employees in Environmental Services. Coordinates work assignments to ensure maximum productivity and quality. Answers all house calls and assigns work to staff. Conducts inspections on a monthly basis and corrects problems if noted. Work as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or porter when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and direct the Environmental Services Department programs and activities to ensure that the organization is maintained in a clean, safe, sanitary and comfortable manner.
  • Coordinates Housekeeping & Laundry Services with other facility departments and agencies.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining written housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that department personnel follow department policies and utilize equipment and supplies effectively.
  • Makes recommendations to the Administrator as necessary concerning the operation of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments and common areas, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting all cleared flat surfaces.
  • Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of supplies and equipment used.
