Requirements
- Housekeeping experience a plus
- Housekeeping experience in health care environment preferred
- Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding of older adults
- Must be physically capable of performing routine duties
- Personable and professional with residents, families and staff
- Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed
- Scour and polish water fountains, sinks, mirrors, and glass panels in doors and partitions
- Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.
- Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
- Maintain organization of cleaning supplies, equipment and laundry area
