About The Position
Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our environmental services team. This full‑time role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
- Ability to lift, push, or pull moderate weight as part of daily tasks
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
- Dispose of trash and maintain clean hallways and workspaces
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents and visitors
