Saint Therese of Woodbury is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Aide Casual/on-call to join our dedicated team! Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury has been filled with social vibrancy, distinctive living spaces and a continuum of care blended to create a unique senior living experience. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments; and 56 skilled and transitional care units. This casual/on‑call cook position is scheduled on an as‑needed basis and requires the ability to work on short notice, including covering unexpected call‑offs or last‑minute staffing needs. Saint Therese of Woodbury is now on a public transit roadway. Metro Transit is now piloting a new on-demand, shared ride service in a few areas around the metro, including a 13-square-mile area in Woodbury and parts of Oakdale and Lake Elmo. Metro micro will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on weekdays; 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends. Requirements

Education: GED or High School Diploma
Experience: Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial work desirable. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Must be able to follow written and oral directions and work independently.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with other workers and the residents.
Must have a basic understanding of chemicals used in housekeeping.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
