About The Position

HOUSEKEEPING AIDE- Kingsford Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking the right candidate to join our team at our Kingsford facility. Located at 1225 Woodward Ave. Kingsford, MI 49802. The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff and public. Housekeeping services are provided in accord with Facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents. Shift: This position is a Full-Time day shift with alternating every other weekend and every other holiday. Housekeeping & Laundry Aide Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, general areas Maintain a clean & safe work environment in compliance with State & Federal laws & regulations. Maintain a homelike environment for residents, staff and public. Follow the Facility policies & procedures. Attend required staff in-services. Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Excellent personal hygiene. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
• Prior experience with Isolation / Infection control is preferred
