About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. This full-time, day shift position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff and families. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates respect and compassion for residents, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Compassionate and respectful approach when working around elderly and disabled residents
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility guidelines
• Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents at all times
