About The Position

The Housekeeper is the primary sanitary member of the administrative team, assuring cleanliness in all public areas and client rooms. Under the immediate supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean environment including common areas and clients’ rooms

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check;
  • Satisfactory personal & professional references.
  • Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, with seamless implementation, regardless to client demands. Intrinsic motivation, client-driven service disposition, excellent time management skills, team approach, and basic computer skills.
  • Scheduling flexibility, holiday and weekend rotation is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all functions necessary to maintain cleanliness in individual client rooms, hallways, offices, and other common areas.
  • Housekeeping duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, dusting fixtures, sanitizing furniture, empty wastebaskets, and biohazardous waste containers.
  • Maintain Client laundry on weekly rotations.
  • Adheres to training and development standards set forth by Hickory, Joint Commission, and State Regulations
