The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for promptly responding to requests from guests and other departments, identifying and reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring public areas and guest rooms are well-maintained. Key tasks include posting caution signs, contacting departments for urgent repairs, delivering guest requests, setting up furniture, and removing items like debris, room service trays, newspapers, soiled linens, and trash from hallways. The role also involves cleaning, maintaining, and storing cleaning equipment. Adherence to company safety and security policies, reporting hazards, completing safety training, and proper storage of flammable materials are mandatory. The aide must maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and provide excellent guest service by welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and using professional language.
