About The Position

The Environmental Services Associate at Saint Mary's Hospital is responsible for ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment. This role involves daily cleaning and supplying of various areas within the hospital, contributing to the overall health and safety of patients and staff.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months' related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

  • Perform required cleaning and housekeeping functions in assigned areas.
  • Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrate efficient, cost-effective, and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
  • Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.
  • Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.
  • Collect soiled linen from all departments.
