About The Position

The Housekeeping Aide at Trinity Health is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment. This role involves daily cleaning and supplying of various areas within the hospital, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming for patients and staff alike.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months' related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

  • Perform required cleaning and housekeeping functions in assigned area.
  • Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrate efficient, cost-effective, and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
  • Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.
  • Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.
  • Collect soiled linen from all departments.
