About The Position

We are actively searching for a daytime (8a-4:30p) Housekeeping Aide. This position maintains a clean and safe environment for the patients, visitors, and associates in Surgical Services. This is accomplished by completing the daily schedule and following established departmental policies and procedures. The Housekeeper cleans patient areas and surgical suites between cases. They maintain common areas and complete other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• At least one (1) year of hospital or hotel experience with housekeeping duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates in Surgical Services.
• Complete the daily cleaning schedule.
• Follow established departmental policies and procedures.
• Clean patient areas and surgical suites between cases.
• Maintain common areas.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
