About The Position
Ensures the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures. Essential Functions: 1) Ability to prioritize work assignments to complete tasks in a timely manner. 2) Ability to follow instructions. 3) Ability to clean and sanitize all assigned areas. 4) Ability to function with minimal supervision. 5) Ability to understand basic infection control procedures. 6) Ability to understand and carryout emergency evacuation, fire and safety procedures. 7) Ability to handle and mix chemicals safely and properly. 8) Ability to operate departmental equipment. 9) Understands the attached Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions related to this position. 10) Ability to perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsMust possess the ability to follow instructions, to work in a health care environment and conduct oneself in a professional manner. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time. 2. Ability to kneel, crawl, reach, and grasp including climbing a ladder. 3. Ability to be on call to come to center, work alternative hours including nights, weekends, and overtime when needed. 4. Ability to pull, push and lift up to 100 lbs. 5. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions as required, hot, wet, cold etc. 6. Ability to work in confined spaces.
