About The Position

As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction within our hospitality environment. Your primary objective is to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards, creating a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding the property’s quality and safety standards. You will contribute directly to the positive experience of our guests by providing spotless accommodations and responding promptly to any housekeeping requests. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and safe handling procedures.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms according to established standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate department.
• Manage laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries related to housekeeping services.
