About the position
The Housekeeper at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in resident and staff areas. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both residents and staff, under the supervision of the housekeeping director and supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Keeping areas clean and free of debris
- Mopping
- Sweeping
- Maintaining safety and sanitation requirements
- Removing garbage and recycling
- Dusting and disinfection of all areas
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 year customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Selfless and committed to provide exceptional service in support of a team
- Accountable, courageous, and trustworthy
Nice-to-haves
- Some housekeeping experience is a plus
