Position Details As a Housekeeper you play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for completing designated cleaning and sanitation duties in assigned areas of the hospital and clinic, following established infection control and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, common areas, restrooms, and clinical spaces; properly handling cleaning chemicals and equipment; restocking supplies; and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. Strong attention to detail is essential, as your work directly impacts patient safety, comfort, and overall care quality. Through your role, you’ll build positive relationships with your team, patients, and residents while contributing to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to learn how to operate cleaning care equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
  • Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
