What you will do: In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Requirements

  • No previous cleaning experience required.
  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
  • Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures as well as cleaning supplies.
  • Requires ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Requires the ability to walk and stand during the entire work shift.
  • Requires the ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in daily work activities.
  • Requires the ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently during the work day.
  • Working Saturday and Sunday may be a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean and positive environment for guests and fellow team members.
  • Ensuring exceptional and positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
  • Performing various hotel cleaning services to maintain clean guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
  • Visually inspecting rooms to help identify necessary maintenance items.
  • Assisting guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude.
  • May be asked to assist in laundry/ cleaning public spaces when needed.
  • Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team members and guests.
