About The Position
Join our team as a Full-Time Housekeeper at The Lutheran Home where you’ll help create a clean, supportive environment for residents in our care community. Guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, you’ll ensure resident rooms and commons areas are well-maintained, always approaching your work with the understanding that we are working in their home. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working in a resident-focused environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in the resident rooms
- Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
- Clean common areas including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
- Clean the shower room
- Pack and move personal items for room changes
- Clean and change out beds as needed
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance needs and report per policy
- Follow proper procedures for chemical use and secure supplies when not in use
