About The Position

Join our team as a Full-Time Housekeeper at The Lutheran Home where you’ll help create a clean, supportive environment for residents in our care community. Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
  • Comfortable working in a resident-focused environment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in the resident rooms
  • Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in designated areas
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
  • Clean common areas including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
  • Clean the shower room
  • Pack and move personal items for room changes
  • Clean and change out beds as needed
  • Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance needs and report per policy
  • Follow proper procedures for chemical use and secure supplies when not in use
